Discovered in 2011, Maligano Jasper is only found among the islands of Sulawesi in Indonesia and is mined by hand, as the village does not have the heavy machinery required for deeper excavation. As such, this material is more difficult to find and often comes with a higher price tag.

The amazing natural abstract pattern found in these stones gives it a shattered look, where the different colors of Jasper interact with one another and seem to dance around the scenery of the stone.

- 925 sterling silver

- genuine Maligano Jasper

- genuine Citrine

- measures approx: 19mm x42mm

My Jasper for Jasper Collection was created in response to the devastating wildfires in Jasper, Alberta, in July 2024, that ravaged the small, picturesque townsite and over 33,000 hectares within the national park. Displacing both people and wildlife, the fires left homes leveled, businesses in ash and a community reeling. Early estimates by the municipality suggest homes and businesses valued at a total of $283 million were destroyed.  The Jasper Wildfire Complex is the most devastating fire to hit the national park in over a century.  It will take years, if not decades to recover, but for those of us that cherish this magical place that has given so much to us, we will be there to give back to her.

I will be donating proceeds from every piece in my Jasper for Jasper Collection to The Jasper Community Team Society. 100% of donations go directly to Jasper.
